Cafe Imran Khan, also known as Chai & Grill, serves halal Pakistani street food in Oakville and Mississauga. Imran Khan is the owner and chef.
How it started
From Boston to Oakville
A first restaurant in Boston
Imran moved to Boston and opened his first restaurant at 169 Chestnut Hill Ave on January 13, 1999. He went on to run several restaurants in Boston and Ontario.
Third Line, then Tenth Line W
Cafe Imran Khan Oakville on Third Line came first. The Mississauga location on Tenth Line W, in Churchill Meadows, opened in autumn 2026 with more dine-in seating.

The dishes
The kitchen makes Karachi Chicken Biryani, Stuffed Naan, Nihari, Halwa Puri, Haleem and Seekh Kabab. Karahi, Karachi pizza and karak chai are on the menu too.
Halal, with breakfast all day
The food is halal. Halwa puri breakfast is served all day at both locations.
Trays and dine-in
Party trays and biryani trays need a pre-order. Both locations have dine-in seating, and Mississauga has more of it.
